MBA-CCE Pitching Day: Even Highlights

MBA-CCE Pitching Day is the first event held by MBA-CCE ITB to facilitate future young entrepreneurs to meet investors. Its mission is to give the opportunity for ITB students and alumni to develop and commercialize their idea into real business.

This event took place on Friday, February 28, 2014 located in MBA ITB building. Seven investors attended and joined this event: Hadi Ismoyo Cs, Senyum-ITB Ventura, Capital Indonesia, Andi Taufan, CIEL SBM ITB, C59, and Bank BRI. Started with an opening speech from Dwi Larso, chair of the event, students are showing great enthusiasm as it is relatively new experience for them.Students are selected based on their business idea directly by the investors. There were 27 out of 80 business ideas are selected by 7 investors to be presented on MBA-CCE Pitching Day. They tried their best to pitch and attract investor by offering a mutual cooperation with various investment schemes. Pitching runs parallel in two rooms since 8 am to 6 pm. Each business idea was presented in front of one or more investors depend on their interest. By the end of the day, 85% of the business presented are agreed to be followed up by one or more investors in two weeks ahead, before the final decision will be made. The committee will assist and guide every participant during the negotiation process until they finally engage with their investors.

Positive comments came from participants, investors, and audience as they have been expecting for such opportunity since long. We thank all investors who support this event. We expect more investors and participants joining us in the next event. As we are planning to do this pitching day at least once per semester, so buckle up and get your business idea ready!
