Subject: [EL-ITB] Scholarship Opportunity at South Korea
Dear All,
Let me introduce myself first. My name is Olivica Priyono (EL04-ITB). Currently, I'm studying in Information and Communication Engineering, Inje University, South Korea.
My professor, Prof. Hwang Won-Joo is currently looking for outstanding international graduate students who want to have the research experience in his laboratory at the department of Information and Communication Engineering, Inje University, Gimhae, Gyeongnam, South Korea (http://cnl.inje.ac.kr). The graduate course will begin from Fall 2013.
The main research area of the graduate students will be mathematical analyses and designs for communication networks, such as wireless sensor networks, home networks, heterogeneous networks, Wimax, LTE, etc.
Applicants with a background in computer science, electronics, industrial engineering, or mathematics who possess a strong motivation to pursue academic research are encouraged to apply.
Requirements of the applicants:
- Must have capability in at least one of following areas: software programming skill, electronic circuit design and implementation skill, optimization theory, queueing theory, &other mathematical backgrounds.
- Knowledge of computer networks is desirable.
- Previous experience in telecommunication networks analyses or design is preferred.
Financial supports:
- 600,000 won/Month (about $600/Month) for Master course (in 2 years)
- 900,000 won/Month (about $900/Month) for Ph.D course (in 3 years)
- 100% Tuition fee.
